insouciance

Sometimes it doesn't matter what you are doing, but who you are with.

I was watching How I met your mother a while ago and I'm sort of missing the school days. Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying life right now. It's just one of those times when nostalgia hits me and I start thinking about how much fun I had with those friends. It will probably be the same when we leave university and venture out into the working society.

Yeah, and sometimes we think too much about stuff and end up missing lots of opportunites. Get really drunk, do things that you have never done before, and regret it the next day just like you regret your hungover. haha nah, I don't mean it this way. But the point is, why do we always chicken out?!

Alrighty, dinner time.

phew. I've been really busy with life. Though it's hectic, I'm enjoying every moment of it.
First year Facebook party, Aussie expo, Ursies ball 2009, soccer matches and so much more! Probably playing volleyball and table tennis too. The weather is getting warmer and the flowers are starting to bloom which means.... spring is coming! Spring break coming soon too and I'm getting excited about it!

But mid-semesters are coming soon in less than 2 weeks and I'm going to have to hand in 2 assignments soon =(

3.5 more weeks to field trip to Eden!

Quick update:
Last Thurs was Christmas dinner at Ursies. The food was not bad! entrée was really good; we had oysters and prawns. And most people dressed up, and some had really funny outfits.
Floor party on Friday night, and the pizzas from Dominoes were good! Not much, played pool, table tennis and had chips and drinks.
Played Frisbee on Saturday and soccer on Sunday. It was a good balance between exercise and studying!

This week went past really quickly. We had to fast for a biology practical because we were taking blood glucose levels for a test of the Glycemic Index of 2 types of bread. Argh, I was so hungry by the time the practical started, and had to prick my finger 5 times (I had one on each of the fingers on my left hand!). Wholegrain bread is good!

Soccer training was cancelled on Tues =( but I went to run anyway since I was already in my trackies. Stamina sucks, need to get fit againnnn.

Yesterday was Tash's 21st so we were at O' Malley's! Had a glass of carlton draught and felt so bloated afterwards. Played bloody knuckles (it's a really painful game), retard games and this finger game that I used to play back in Singapore, except that we made it a drinking game.
And people, if you are wondering if your friend here has gone wild and has turned into a crazy alcholic, nope I'm still very much sane and the same. Just a couple more beers per month that's all. hahah. On our way home, we met this dude who was probably drunk. He was pointing to the city centre, O' Malley's, and ANU in all the wrong directions and betting with us that he was 110% right. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if he found himself halfway up the Black mountains, sleeping with the kangaroos, the next morning.

Pictures up on FB!
