X'mas exchange! :)

Had BTL in the morning, and the instructors were really interesting! I went into class regretting not bringing sweets along, but I didn't need them. haha
When class was dismissed, I rushed out of school and hoped that 187 would arrive quickly. But it didn't. and then transferred 963 which took a while to arrive too, so I ended up being late.

but...
it was really really fun today. (: Catching up with the class and chatting over lunch at The Mussel Guys, before bumming around trying to find something to do. We decided on burning calories through shopping. haha and X'mas exchange was really awesome, haha we should do this every year! lol.
Aw, I saw this nice knitwear top from Zara and I feel like getting it. =/ Hm... other than that, there wasn't really anything that caught my eye. Going shopping again!

Yesterday saw me at nyps early in the morning for induction before heading town to meet andrea, hx and zy for YesMan. hahah it's funny but not as hilarious as whitechick. haha.
Late lunch before shopping at departmental stores like JohnLittle and OG.

random thoughts

An hour and twenty minutes to Christmas!
My family has this really unique way of celebrating X'mas. We used to hang our socks by our beds when my sis and I were younger, but now that we grew out of that (and ran out of long socks), we place our gifts under a potted tree. Yeah, I know I'm 18, but it's a very heartwarming thing. Or perhaps I'm just easily satisfied (:

Packed schedule for the next few days before I start work! yay! and weekends will be volunteering at the Zoo/ NS. So exciting!! :DD

26th: Staff induction
27th: BTL, X'mas exchange with s02!
29th: BTP, meeting?
30th: BTE, meeting?
31st: cable ski! are we counting down??

There were a few coincidences during this trip. 1) I bumped into Mr Tsang at this random dessert shop at Tsim Sha Tsui. Moreover, it is out of the 20 of so outlets in HK! hahaha.
2) I stayed in a room beside this p.sch/ nj mate of mine. haha. Talk about coincidence!
3) My cousin looks like my friend!!

oh yeah, and met up with val (: aw, was hoping I could extend my stay =( I really wouldn't mind sleeping at the park >.<

Today saw me discovery new places in Singapore with H.T. LEE. haha!
We went to Istana park then to Cuppage then to Emerald Hill and to the Singapore Tourism place in Orchard road (:
Emerald Hill is a really cool place. I mean, it's a 5 mins walk from the centre of Orchard road, but it feels a bit like Singapore in the 80s. Peranakan houses and old see-saws are really amazing.
Shall visit the place again at night someday. Think it will be a totally different feeling. hahah.

Anyway, Bintan was wonderful (:

Day one:
We went swimming once we reached the villa :D haha actually we only wanted to soak our legs, but one thing led to the next, and we ended up in the pool. haha andrea's swimming lesson no. 1 x) And then we went back for BBQ. The fire was omg huge! Couldn't even bbq the chicken thighs properly =( and then lots of marshmellows caught fire. hahaha.

Day two:
Woke up super early to catch the sunrise =/ but too cloudy =( so ended up walking along the beach and then played beach volleyball (: and I got a super big bruise on my palm =X then we helped to make dumplings. hahaha. hmm, after that we went to pasah oleh oleh to shop! lols. it was less crowded and with less shops than I expected. Headed back to the resort in the evening to swim again :) Went to The Pub at night for karaoke. It was very worth it :P haha 6 drinks, 2 hours of songs, 6 people, and the bill totalled to $24 I think. and we got high. lols.

Day three:
errr, breakfast, beach, jungle trekking! Trekking was enjoyable, though I got like cuts and mosquito bites everywhere. Got a really nice view from the top :) went back and showered, before having lunch and then mahjong, slapjack, and heart attack. I learned mahjong! kudos to Instructor Lee :P hahaha. but I don't think I will be addicted to it. Went to the Pub again at night. But I was super tired that night, so didn't touch pool. haha

Day four:
check out, photo spam, factory outlet shopping, ferry, singapore, tampines, boonlay, home sweet home (:

yup, the trip with andrea, nora, hanxiao, ziyang, yunhao can be summarised in one word- awesome! ((:

Flying to hongkong on monday, so don't message me unless it's urgent! :)

Will upload the rest of the photos next time! Haha, really tired now. I can feel every inch of my muscle crying out loud for yokoyoko. Yeah, try lugging your luggage from Bintan to Tanah Merah to Tampines and back to Boon lay xP
But, it was really, really enjoyable.
