I'm making full use of my 1GB per day right now by blogging, facebooking and reading awesome stuff online. This is not good.

I'm supposed to be in my room reading my 1000 pages biology textbook, doing my next week's readings and taking a nap before x'mas dinner later on. argh.



But at least I'm doing some of my readings with my free 1GB a day rather than using my own 1GB which I have to pay $7 for. If only I can MSN with the hall's computers... hahaha

all over again

Today's the first day of school. I felt the same way as I did in secondary one: lost. Not because I got lost on my way to the lecture theatre but because I didn't know anyone at all. The transition from secondary school to JC was alright because there were friends around. But today, it was an entire new phase of my life; not only am I alone in a foreign school, but also in a foreign land.

BUT! It wasn't that bad. :D I hope it gets better though!

I'm going to dissect snails and toads, count kangaroo poo on black mountains and go on field trips over weekends! How awesome is that! hahah but of course on top of more boring stuff like field reports and assignments.

not much these few days. Went shopping for the ball at Canberra Centre and DFO. Now I have to cut down my expenses on other stuff, argh. But I guess it would be an investment. hahah, and I'm not a shopaholic so this is not an excuse to get stuff.

I went for a morning run today and it was freezing. Okay, it wasn't that bad but I think I was running in 3 degrees celsius? My stamina's really bad, desperately need to get back in shape.
And then did my laundry, bummed around and waited for Beiru to arrive. And yes, she is safely in Canberra now. hahah
After that it was civics for essentials again. Seriously, at the end of my degree, I think I'm going to know that place inside out man.

argh, I don't know what's wrong with me.

almost a week!

Yup, time really flies. It has been 6 days since I left the sunny little island (:
I've been walking a lot these days! Basically the best transport to anywhere is by foot. Some friends and I went down to the city centre practically everyday! It's really silly because we keep forgetting to get stuff when we are there and then when we are back at home, we'll realise what we've forgotten. But then again, we have nothing much to do so yeah!

I met a couple of other international students too, like from France, Holland, Denmark and Venezuela. Really cool eh, and they are really nice. Lots of Asians here, hmm I don't know, it's neither good nor bad.

school's starting in a week! I'm really excited, I hope it will be fine (:

hello Singapore!

hello people in Singapore!
I'm safe and sound in Canberra (: for now that is. HAHA. nah, I will be alright (:
It's pretty cold here (below 10 degrees celsius in the day and it plunges down to 2 at night) So I'm wrapped up pretty much all the time. The food here is awesome; fruits, vegetables, lots of meat! HAHA I'm either going to balloon up a lot because of all the meat OR slim down a lot because I'm not going to have snacks in between my 3 meals. Gonna go for a BBQ later though! :D

Two more days. I have mixed feelings right now. Guess it's normal to feel this way but the most important thing would be to get myself back on track, remember why I chose this path and move on with life. My friend asked me the other day: Isn't it tough to like miss everyone while everyone else might only miss a few friends? sigh it will be nostalgic.

I hope the next phase of our lives will be awesome. It definitely won't be easy, but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going (:


It's always hard to say goodbye.

Yesterday was fun (: Tennis in the morning with wong and shining!
And then Tau huay and arcade in the evening with the nv qiang ren! And thanks a lot ladies ((: I will remember the macadamia nuts and marsupials and bikinis what not. hahaha

Met up with the S02 girls to collect our SGC today and then we bummed around town as usual. I'm sorry if like one year later I'm still asking you what course/uni you are in! I keep getting mixed up about NTU/ NUS accountancy/ business. >.<

random rantings...

I was thinking about how things will change in a few months time...
we'll have to adapt, won't we?

I don't know what stopped me. Maybe I do; but I don't want to acknowledge it? I will get over it (: we all grow up someday.

It ain't that hard, so do it before I start regretting.

I had this really weird dream this morning; I wonder what it means.
And it's really unusual because I dreamed of it before, just that there are more details this time round.
I woke up feeling really confused but happy (:

Was it comfort that I was seeking? Or something else that I longed for?
