I think (some) people are really dumb; they change for the sake of Love.
No wonder they say "love is blind", and apparently, there's scientific proof.

...I am glad 'tis night, you do not look on me,
For I am much ashamed of my exchange:
But love is blind and lovers cannot see
The pretty follies that themselves commit; ...

We're going to experience much more these few years. And I guess that's what makes our lives so interesting.

Look beyond the horizon, and embrace the unpredictables of life (:

Life as it is, now

I want to go to the Philatelic Museum before I lose my "Student" status!
Hahaha, there's Superman and TinTin and (hopefully) Batman and...

Give myself more time. It's too early to judge.

Oh wow, I've just completed this super long online questionnaire. What weird questions =/
and even if I get pass the first stage, how am I supposed to go for the interview! =(

Kids will always be kids. There were adorable ones, naughty ones, cheeky ones, curious ones...

Cool Zoo

I think I've killed a lot of cells in my lungs. =(

The Zoo is so cool (it rhymes!) early in the morning, before all the visitors start streaming in.
Furthermore, the weather was superb today. So had a walk around AO and HB before I started duty since I was at the Zoo at 8am. Kangaroos are adorable!

Anyway, I witnessed live feeding. yes, a reticulated python feeding on a rat. It's so awesome!
Like the keeper was dangling the rat above the snake, and it just grabbed it, and started to suffocate the dead rat before swallowing it whole, headfirst.

After that was enrichment talk which was pretty enriching I feel. Recapped on the sec3/4 Biology topics and then proceeded to the Rabbits area to learn to handle/groom the rabbits.

Now, I'm just worried about one more thing...

TRAININGGG yesterday. It's always the little things that make me happy (:
SWIMMINGGG today. I think I did less than 10 laps -_- The water was salty and there were a number of people swimming laps =( Hit the Lazy River in the end and floated 3 rounds.

If not for my throat, I would have lost my temper today.
I want my voice back!

ZOO-ing tomorrow! imagine if I see my kids at the zoo...

"HELLO MISS HO!" xP

oooh sexyy. LOL

This is so sad! I hope Mr. Obama can make things right!

Started the day folding paper cranes.
The school has to fold 9,999 paper cranes for some Nparks' CNY event. That's sooo "environmentally friendly". haha anyway, The class did 210 in total! *applauds*
AND, I've officially lost my voice. Luckily, they were a good bunch of kids today (:

omgomg. table tennis this thursday!! :DD

i can't do this.

A decade and half
Took me long enough to see
that You come and go.

Indescribable-
Like locusts sweeping across
Making me tremble.

weekends

Term 1. Week 2.
I never thought that I would be using these terms again. Anyhow, school's starting in probably another 14 hours or so. I've not planned my lessons yet, and there's a pile of homework on my table, waiting to be marked. But I love writing "good!" and drawing smiley faces on the kids' work!

Jiateng and I went back to NJC on friday to watch the full-dress rehearsal but in the end, I didn't stay. So, I saw a bit of Ignis' and Aerius' performances, talked to Mr Yip, Mr Tsang, took the stuff from Mr Yong and headed home.

Visited the IDP open day at orchard hotel on Saturday and went to the ZOO for duty today (:
Yays! I always feel happy going to the zoo. hahaha. First time doing duty at RFKW! =X
Initially jt and I freaked out because there were wax figures in the Kampong House -_-
but after a while, it was actually fun! haha, took a stick insect and planted it on myself and walked around. LOL. It (not me!) totally made a number of people scream. *evil laughter*
haha, but there was this ticklish sensation whenever it climbed up my arm =.=
Hmm, and summing up what happened in the next hour: a lab rat nearly went into my shirt, and a guinea pig peed on me.

omg... I'm dreading the day results are released. But at the same time I want to get it over and done with.

Stop all the envy
Turn my world topsy turvy
Liberating me.

peace (:

4th day of school.
I've not gotten used to waking up at 515am each morning yet. sighs. That probably explains why I'm always feeling so lethargic in the morning. Luckily, I do not have a very packed timetable, so I can nap in between =P oops, I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to nap in between lessons.
And, guess who else is teaching here! haha, is 2009 a year of coincidence or what? (:
I'm starting to get the gist of teaching, hopefully, it's effective for the kids. AND! I'm loving them more each day (: haha, though they are still as loud as ever. well, kids. what can I say. haha, patience.

Anyhow, I want/need to exercise! Anyone up for cycling/wakeboarding/ windsurfing/ cable skiing??

The past two days had been really tiring because I was out till night. Monday night saw me with the s67-ers at NYNY for farewell dinner for guys enlisting in January. Had a great deal of time catching up with people whom I haven't seen for what, 1.5 years? haha.
And met up with Andrea, Nora, Zi Yang, Yun Hao and Han Xiao yesterday at KAP for dinner. Yes, we had 40 pcs of nuggets, 4 pkts of twister fries and 2 extra extra large iced lemon tea. Omg, I'm so not going to touch MCD for one year. But anyway, as usual, it was fun! haha though I really wished that I could have joined them in their tour around Little India. nvm, CNY! (:

Hey recruit Z Y LEE and Y H TEO! haha all the best in there! Serving the nation! haha (:
and to 67 guys enlisting this week ( YQ, Ben chan, ZH err... I forgot who else), Jia You too!

Mexican Axolotl- found in the lake complex of Xochimilco, near Mexico City.

Haha! so cute right! LOL.
I think the kids are like Mexican Axolotls; so adorable but can be quite a terror. x)
First day of school was alright, quite entertaining as I was trying to figure them out.
Hopefully when lessons start, they will settle down and the classroom will be less of a fish market.

2009

Happy 2009 world! :D haha I'm wishing for world peace this year! (:

I spent the last few hours of 2008 and welcomed 2009 with Andrea, Zi Yang, Yun Hao and Han Xiao this time round (: If I were to tag it in 5 words, it would be, fireworks, cocktails, museum, field and fun. LOL. yeahh. Hanging out with them is always fun; no worries, just laughter. Thanks a lot for the memories! (:

Some of the friends whom I spent a great deal of time with in 2008:

Andrea, Val and Nora! Thanks a million gazillion for everything. It's really more than words. (: And Val! come back soon! really miss you >.<

JeanLim :D haha I wouldn't know what to do without you. Like the sea anemone and I'm the clown fish? or the other way round also can. LOL, nah, you are definitely way cuter than the sea anemone. hahah! love you lots womann :))

People whom I've not mentioned: you are always special in one way or another yeah (: loves.

As for 2008, a big goodbye to you, and hopefully 2009 will be a better one for us!

I thought of my new year resolutions/ wishes as I sat under the stars this morning, and I realised I don't have a long list this year:
- Try out new things ( like wakeboarding and cable skiing!)
- Spend more time with The family.
- Hakuna Matata
- Be happy (:

It's the little things that make me smile :D

Starting work tomorrow! :)) I'm really really excited!
