NINE more freaking days.

My impatient alter ego is starting to reveal. Yeah, but it will be over reallyy reallyy soonn. When the real thing starts, time will whizz by, and then before I know it, everything will be OVER!
Maybe things will revert back to normal.

-I hate it when people don't keep their promises-

I'm going to pick up a language! :D
and I'm going to get loads of penmanship practices and learn to write with my left hand.
and I'm going to pack my room and clear all my stuff...
and...

yeahh the list goes on. hahah. okay, till then.

lovely

Yesterday marked the end of my 12 years of formal education. Nothing much as compared to graduating from RV. Tears flowed on graduation day 2 years ago, but it was a simple graduation yesterday. Perhaps it's because I knew more people in RV, or maybe it was because of the whole atmosphere. Anyhow, it was definitely a different experience altogether.
But I thought about more things yesterday than when I left RV...

After that, had a short studying session with Andrea before meeting zk to study. At 630pm went back to school for the art exhibition. The AEP students' artworks were really nice. Basked in the soft lighting, it didn't seem any different from a professional art exhibition, but there wasn't any aircon, which made the whole room sweltering hot. Haha, I'm going to write to the principal after my A's! When I reached boonlay, it was already half past 9, so we went to Shell and I bought cup noodles and ate on my way home.

And guess what when I reached home, OH MY GAWD, Daddy bought liquor chocolates! The vodka filled chocolates from Finland were simply orgasmic mann... and there were Lindt chocolates, wine chocolates from down under and Mint chocolates from Finland too! Best deal was, he got them at half-priced at warehouse sale at Changi Airport! -loves- I'm not going to care about growing fat when I get to eat such awesome chocolates!! <33> :D

Oh-so-true.

I found this really true (: thx twinn, this email came at the right time!

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less.
We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.
A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it.
A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

101 things

2 sunny side up eggs with ham made my day (:

I'm nearly halfway through my 101 list! omg, CAN'T WAIT!! ((:
Maybe when I'm really tired, I can start on another list: 101 places to visit.
Antarctica will definitely be in. heh.

Sometimes

Sometimes things would be better...
Sometimes decisions aren't that tough to make...
Sometimes life would be simpler...

... if I didn't care.

----
After much hesitation, I finally said it out, and boy, am I glad! thanks girl.
and... I got a good night's rest (: like finally.

Quick update:
Last day of school yesterday. Didn't really had the mood to study so I stoned for half of the lessons. Really wanted to spam photos, guess we'll have to do that on the 17th.
Went off to Marina Square for a really late lunch at Cafe Cartel to celebrate chonghwee's bday (:

So many dreams, so many aspirations.
Press on!

world animal day

wonderful weekend (:
CA outing at southern ridges yesterday. Walked the entire (well, almost) 9km and was really shagged (omg, my lack of exercise has led me to this state! Must. Do. Something. After. A Levels.) and I had a great laugh over dinner. All Jiateng and Meiyi's fault =P I forgot what we laughed about, but it was a really random conversation.
Animal Enrichment day at the Zoo today (: I ended up at face/hand painting.

It's fun just laughing.

If you are really bored and interested (: --

A photo can capture the way we were
But it can't capture the way we are

...

Cause I'm looking at your picture

Cause it's all I've got
Maybe one day you and me
will have
One more shot
