Teachers' Day celebrations

Probably the last I will ever experience.

Prelims has been crazy. But I'll survive.
After the Math p2 yesterday, the class went shopping. Yes, for teachers' day presents (duh ._. if not for clothes?) Haven't laughed that hard for ages! haha as in really laugh until cry kind of laughter. Thanks a lot. (: And we bought really cool stuff for the teachers.

guess who's this for?!

haha I don't have a pic of Ms Heng's present though. and SC really surprised me with his sporting-ness tdy. (: haha.
oh, after shopping ytd, I went PS to search for more presents. I guess it's just some slight misunderstanding... Dinner with Dad at pasta mania, then headed down to J8 with him as he had some business to do.

Went back to RV today. well things have changed. Sometimes I really wonder whether it's worth it not. Certain teachers have indeed shaped me to become who I am today, but it feels weird not to greet the others. Conclusion: a very foreign feeling indeed.
Played frisbee with a really lousy frisbee before heading to Vivo for lunch. The usual hang out place with the usual people at the usual shops (:

I'm happy and satisfied to be around you people. Thanks for being crazy, wild, and simply who you are. Hope we'll get to meet up again after A's yeah.

I'm relieved now. Thanks. and I hope you'll find it soon. (:

"Why do I keep running from the truth?
All I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized
And I just got to know..."

Omg, and I so love Archuleta's "Crush".

I do not understand why the manager was sacked. Disappointed by her decision. Anyway, let's wait before I flame the wrong person for the wrong reasons.

and, I hate the exams. Zzz. A few more days... hang in there girl.

Olympics

Kudos to table tennis team Singapore! :) They were wonderful, especially the match against S.Korea. Yeah, they totally deserve the silver. And the finals was definitely a good fight. China's too good.
----

and not forgetting Tao Li. (: brilliant swim. She caught up with 2 other competitors at the last 25m in her 100m butterfly semis.
----

Michael Phelps! He's darn good. Swims like a fish, his torso is so well-defined and guess what, he consumes 12,000 calories a day! Have a look at this:

"The newspaper has revealed that Phelps eats a breakfast of three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions, and mayonnaise.

He follows that up with two cups of coffee, a five-egg omelette, a bowl of grits, three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar and three chocolate-chip pancakes.

The report further states that Phelps' lunch comprises a pound of enriched pasta and two large ham and cheese sandwiches slathered with mayo on white bread, capping off the meal by chugging about 1,000 calories worth of energy drinks.

Phelps' dinner includes carbohydrate-rich foods—such as a pound of pasta and an entire pizza—which give him plenty of energy for his five-hours-a-day, six-days-a-week regimen.

He washes all that down with another 1,000 calories worth of energy drinks."

that's like 6 times of what an average person eats a day. Stunned.

and and and Kobe Bryant! :) and the USA team.

One world one dream.

dang, I really need to study harder. >.<
2 days.

I saw this on a friend's blog (:
yeah, after A levels, I promise.
Having a restructured timetable has it's pros and cons.
Even though we end school earlier, the flip side of having such a schedule is being mentally drained at the end of the day. Seriously, I feel like a zombie that just had its brain placed on a fry pan. hmm, but zombies aren't supposed to have brains... ._.

Must have confidence. Darn. How I wish I've got people to help me out. >.<
It's okay, I'm going to survive!
work hard, rest well, don't lose yourself.
haha. "Don't lose yourself" seems like my motto nowadays. (:

Anyway, on friday, s02 went to watch "Money No enough 2" after econs lesson. haha, 21 out of 24 ppl! Lol yeah. As much as I want to support local production, it has to be of substantial standard first. The movie wasn't that good; some of the jokes were really bad. But, I think the movie portrayed the quintessential Singaporean well; the Kiasu and Kaypoh attitude complacency, feelings towards the ERP etc.

Oh, on a side note: my class guys laugh really loudly. LOL!

After that, I practically ran from The Cathay to Raffles city. It was a 10 mins walk, but I reached RC in like 7 mins? ._. quickly bought the balloon and cake, and then went to meet jeanlim (:
MOF and then Singapore Garden Festival @suntec. oh, the garden festival was spectacular. I particularly liked the "shangri-la" something art piece.

Woke up with a splitting headache today, which is still haunting me every 10 mins or so. I need to sleep, though my mum said that I got the headache because I slept too much.
Did some work, and went to grandma's house a while ago. Watched TV, crapped with people online, and I'm going to sleep now. (:

Gdnight world.
