hundredth post
Yesterday marked the last day of attachment. It was another day as usual; putting on my scrubs and gloves, cleaning the poop and pee, holding the animals down, assisting the VTs, getting a few more scratches from playing with Jump Jump... except that yesterday I left at around a quart past eleven for NJ (team NJ had matches at PL).
Reluctantly, I removed my scrubs and headed upstairs to bid Jumper farewell. (aww) For the first time, it curled up -burying his head in my folded arms- and purred, as if he knew I was leaving and that was the way he said goodbye. That little devil became an angel so quickly before you could even say "Jumper"; he had given me a couple of teeth marks earlier that morning when I was teasing him with a leash. Gently, I carried him -like how Rafiki the Mandrill took Simba and presented him to the gathering of the animals beneath Pride Rock- and rubbed his nose against mine, whispering a soft goodbye before placing him back in his cage. sigh
Later in the afternoon, we saw what was a crucial match between NJ and TP. It seemed pretty much a repeat of what happened 2 years ago. Nevermind the heartbreak and tears, I guess it's the team spirit that I saw in them and the memories that they have together which matter most ultimately.
Dinner with juniors at J8's Ajisen afterwards and I talked about my options with val. I guess I saw a bit of light, but I'm still pretty much at the same state. I sort of knew that I would end up with a dilemma when I applied, since I was betting on a lot of things, but I didn't care about it then. Or maybe I should wait and see how things go in the next 2 weeks.
On another note, I'm still feeling annoyed. Hatred is definitely unnecessary, but I think I will see you from a different perspective. Tell me about human behaviours, future psychologists. haha
zoo tomorrow! :D
