Venturing into another arena
Don't bother reading unless you are really really bored.
Got up early (for the first time in this holiday, wow.) and went for training. Supposed meeting time was 845am but I was lazy so had my dad fetch me to the Zoo, and I reached at 8am. ._. Failed to study for that 45 mins. I was really amazed by this army of worker ants carrying this thingy- which I presumed it was a dead bug- from under the table to this drain cover half a metre away. yeah I know, it's gross facts to some people, but anyway, I'm okay with them. Though they can be irritating at times too.
Once, I got really irritated by them when they conquered my table. Stupid me, I left my raisins on my table -_- only to discover the next day that ants were all over the table.
That led to a week long battle with the ants in my room. I got really pissed off, since I was studying for my prelims, whenever I see like 3 or 4 ants scurrying across the wall. So I laid poison pellets at a corner of the room and I think most of them decided to migrate to better places. XP
Back to the ants. When the Egyptians built the pyramids, they used an ingenious techinique to transport an object from one place to another. They placed rollers at the bottom of an object, pushed it forward, and replace the rollers from the back of the object to the front... (something along those lines). These ants, they were like the rollers, there were a few who would carry the dead thing for a few centimeters, and then the last few will scramble to the front and wait for their turn to carry the object. So, they carried that thingy till they reached the drain cover. (:
Laudable hardwork put in by the ants. Haha I bet if they were given the intelligence of humans and apes, probably they will rule the world by now (and maybe the universe), given that success is 99% hardwork and 1% intelligence.
Well, yeah, my experience with ants early this morning. xP
Anyway, training was a great experience. I was alone this time round, so hung around the CAs that I know. It was like... stepping out of my comfort zone. Not going to elaborate much lest my blog gets discovered, somehow. x)
Can't believe it, this phase of my life is coming to an end already. It has been 3 whole years (or 6 years?). Like this satisfied little (abandoned) puppy that had its fill, but just refuses to leave the stranger who gave it a new lease of life. I don't know, loyalty? urgh, whatever, just move on girl. ...Unless the stranger doesn't mind it being a nuisance.
At least I'm not being emo. I haven't been emo for a long time (yay), just, bottled up.
But I'm no fizzy drink so it's okay haha -__-
Humans are born with survival instincts. I can survive (:
MIA till after prelims. err, HC, VJ, RJ, NJ peeps, gdluck x)
